Masjid Al-Aqsa holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims around the world. It is located in the Old City of Jerusalem, a city with deep religious, historical, and cultural significance. Al-Aqsa is associated with the history of many prophets and is an important part of the Islamic tradition. One of the most significant events associated with Masjid Al-Aqsa is Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj, the miraculous night journey and ascension of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). According to Islamic tradition, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) travelled by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, before his ascension. Masjid Al-Aqsa is also known as the first Qibla of Muslims, the direction Muslims faced in prayer before the Qibla was changed to the Kaaba in Makkah. Its religious significance makes learning about it an important part of understanding Islamic history and heritage. In this video, I will present 100 questions about Masjid Al-Aqsa. These questions cover its location, history, religious importance, connection with the prophets, Islamic traditions, architecture, and place in the lives of Muslims. he Inspiring Story of Prophet Ayyub (Job): A Testament of Patience and Faith Prophet Ayyub (Job) is a profound example of unwavering faith and patience in the face of immense suffering. His story is a timeless reminder of the virtues of resilience and trust in God’s wisdom. Ayyub was a pious man blessed with wealth, a large family, and good health. However, to test his faith, God allowed Satan to afflict him with severe trials. Ayyub lost his wealth, his children, and his health, suffering from a debilitating disease that covered his body with sores and ulcers. Despite these hardships, Ayyub remained steadfast in his faith, continuing to praise and trust in God. Even as insects and worms consumed his flesh, Ayyub displayed remarkable patience. When the insects fell from his body, he would gently pick them up and place them back, believing that they too were part of God’s creation. In his time of suffering, Ayyub turned to God with a heartfelt prayer: “رَبِّ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ” “Rabbi inni massaniyad-durru wa anta arhamur-raahimeen.” (“My Lord, indeed adversity has touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful.” - Quran 21:83) Ayyub’s unwavering faith and patience were eventually rewarded. God healed him, restored his wealth, and blessed him with more children, proving that perseverance and trust in God are always rewarded.
