**Stellar Stories: Navigating the Night Sky**

Look up at the night sky and you will see much more than twinkling lights. Above us is a vast universe filled with stars, planets, galaxies, constellations, meteors, and countless mysteries waiting to be explored.

For thousands of years, humans have looked toward the stars for **direction, knowledge, inspiration, and answers**. Ancient travelers used the night sky to navigate, while astronomers today use powerful telescopes and advanced technology to study objects billions of light-years away.

**Stars** are enormous glowing objects that produce their own light and energy.

**Planets** orbit stars and come in many different sizes and types.

**Meteors** are streaks of light created when space rocks enter Earth's atmosphere and heat up.

**Constellations** are patterns of stars that people have recognized and named throughout history.

**Galaxies** are enormous collections of stars, gas, dust, and other matter. Our home galaxy is the **Milky Way**.

One familiar pattern in the sky is the **Big Dipper**, which is part of the larger constellation Ursa Major. It has helped people recognize directions and identify other stars in the night sky.

The night sky connects us with both the past and the future. Ancient civilizations created stories about the stars, while modern scientists continue searching for new worlds and learning more about our universe.

**So, the next time you look up, remember:**

There is a whole universe waiting to be explored.

**Look up. Stay curious. Keep discovering.**

  • Go slowly !
    By Jessica Knobloch

Go slowly, like honey spilling from a spoon,
    or the hush between heartbeats
    when you first step outside
and notice the way the light
    threads gold through the trees.

    Walk slowly,
and the path will bloom for you
a daisy pushing through a crack in the concrete,
a snail dragging galaxies across damp stone.
What once seemed small becomes miraculous
when you give it the time to breathe.

    Clean slowly
and find a letter tucked in a forgotten drawer,
dust dancing like fireflies in the morning sun.
    There’s a photograph,
    creased and faded,
but somehow still holding the sound of laughter
from a version of you that loved without armor.

    Live slowly,
and you may find that doing one thing well
feels better than doing ten things fast.
    That sweeping the floor
    can be a prayer.
    That chopping vegetables
    can be a poem.

    Love slowly
    not out of fear,
    but reverence.
Let your fingertips learn the shape of another’s soul
the way rivers learn the contours of the earth,
    with patience,
    with grace.

    We are taught to rush,
    but the world reveals herself
in moments that ask for stillness:
the pause before a heron takes flight,
the breath held in awe beneath a meteor shower,
the silence after a song ends
but before anyone dares to speak.

    So go slowly.
    And you might just find
    you were never behind.
    You were simply being shown
    the beauty
that is only found in stillness.

  • **Have You Spent 10,000 Hours on Your Art to Become Successful?**

When we think of The Beatles, we remember them as one of the most iconic and successful bands in history. But did you know that their success wasnt just a stroke of luck? Before they became household names, The Beatles spent countless hours honing their craft in the unlikeliest of places—Hamburg, Germany.

In the early 1960s, The Beatles performed in Hamburg’s gritty clubs, playing marathon sessions of up to eight hours a night, seven days a week. They werent just playing to packed stadiums; they were grinding it out, night after night, in small, smoky clubs. Between 1960 and 1962, they amassed thousands of hours of live performance experience—far more than most bands of their time. By the time they returned to England, they were masters of their craft, ready to take on the world.

Malcolm Gladwell, in his book *Outliers*, uses The Beatles story to highlight the "10,000-Hour Rule." This idea suggests that it takes roughly 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in any field. For The Beatles, those countless hours in Hamburg were crucial to their meteoric rise.

So, the question is—have you invested your 10,000 hours in your art, your passion, your dream? Success doesnt come overnight. It’s built in the quiet hours of dedication and persistence. The Beatles didnt become legends by chance; they put in the work.

    Are you willing to do the same? #10000Hours #TheBeatles #Success #Persistence #Outliers

  • Perplexity, $18B AI unicorn, Offers to Buy Google Chrome browser for $34.5 Billion

I had an opportunity to meet Aravind Srinivas, the visionary co-founder and CEO behind Perplexity, as they describe themselves “a free AI-powered answer engine”, in April 2024, when they raised $165 million in funding, valuing the company at over $1 billion. Today Perplexity is valued at mind-boggling $18 billion, backed by Jensen Huang(Founder and CEO NVIDIA), Jeff Bezos(Founder Amazon) and many other top minds and VCs.

Aravind’s story is one of relentless curiosity and ambition. Born in Chennai (formerly Madras), India — the same city as Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai — he began with humble beginnings. Graduating from IIT Madras with dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and later earning a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, Aravind’s journey took him through research roles at some of the world’s leading AI labs including OpenAI,
Google Brain, and Google DeepMind before founding Perplexity in 2022.

Perplexity has quickly risen from a promising startup to a formidable player in AI-powered search. Just recently, it secured an additional $100 million funding round, pushing its valuation to an impressive $18 billion — a meteoric rise since its inception only three years ago.

Now, Perplexity is making headlines again with an audacious $34.5 billion bid to acquire Google’s Chrome browser. This bold move is about more than just acquiring technology — it’s about reshaping the digital landscape.

    Why does this matter?

Chrome commands over 3 billion users worldwide, serving as the gateway to the web and a treasure trove of search traffic and data.

Owning Chrome would give Perplexity the scale and reach to compete with tech giants like Google and OpenAI in the AI search race.

Perplexity pledges to keep Chrome’s underlying Chromium code open source, invest $3 billion over two years, and maintain the browser’s default search engine — a promise to the open web and users.

This move challenges Google’s long-standing dominance and disrupts the tech status quo amid ongoing antitrust scrutiny.

Aravind and the Perplexity team are proof that grounded beginnings, combined with bold vision and relentless innovation, can disrupt even the largest tech empires.

The future of search and browsers is being rewritten — and this is just the start. What are your thoughts on this daring bid?
