Keep Your Face to the Sunshine — An Inspirational Story
Inspired by the quote attributed to Walt Whitman
Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Ali who lived in a small village. His family was poor, and his father worked in an old workshop to earn money. Ali wanted to become a successful engineer, but life was not easy for him.
Every day, he saw his father working hard in the dark workshop. Sometimes, machines broke down, and sometimes, they did not have enough money to buy food. Ali often felt sad and wondered if his dreams would ever come true.
One morning, his father noticed his sadness and said, “Son, life is not always easy. You will face difficulties, but never let your problems take away your hope. Always look toward the sunshine.”
Ali remembered his father's words. He began studying harder and helping his father after school. Whenever he failed an exam or faced a difficult situation, he reminded himself to stay positive and keep moving forward.
Years passed, and Ali never gave up. Through hard work, patience, and determination, he completed his education and became an engineer. He used his knowledge to improve his village and help other children receive an education.
One day, Ali returned to the old workshop and looked at the place where his journey had begun. He smiled, remembering his father's advice. He understood that difficult times had taught him strength, courage, and the value of hope.
Moral of the Story: Never lose hope when life becomes difficult. Focus on the positive things, believe in yourself, and keep working toward your dreams.
