  • Muslims should ask themselves why there are only 7 Muslim winners of Nobel Prizes, (20% of worlds population is Muslim) while there are 129 Jewish winners of the Nobel Prize, (0,02 of world population is Jewish); why there is no a single University in a Muslim country amongst the 200 best universities in the world, and why countries of the ME which swim in petrol are unable to create sane, enriching societies. You may discover religion (any religion) doesnt help in science or education, because it stops rational thinking, and when religion occupies a place in society which shouldnt occupy, societies dont develop at all, despite the money you spend.

  • Question asked by facebook friend : Out of 1.4 Billion Muslims, only 8 managed to earn a Nobel prize. Out of 12 Million Jews, 165 won a Nobel prize. Why exactly...? I do not know, I told the person to ask you ! What are the reasons on this ?

  • “You start dying slowly
    if you do not travel,
    if you do not read,
    If you do not listen to the sounds of life,
    If you do not appreciate yourself.

    You start dying slowly
    When you kill your self-esteem;
    When you do not let others help you.

    You start dying slowly
    If you become a slave of your habits,
    Walking everyday on the same paths…
    If you do not change your routine,
    If you do not wear different colours
    Or you do not speak to those you don’t know.

    You start dying slowly
    If you avoid to feel passion
    And their turbulent emotions;
    Those which make your eyes glisten
    And your heart beat fast.

    You start dying slowly
    If you do not change your life when you are not satisfied with your job, or with your love,
    If you do not risk what is safe for the uncertain,
    If you do not go after a dream,
    If you do not allow yourself,
    At least once in your lifetime,
    To run away from sensible advice.”

    ― Pablo Neruda - nobel laureate

  • A poem...

    Pablo Neruda
    (Spanish poet)
    Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971

    His Poem:
    "You start dying slowly"

    You start dying slowly;
    if you do not travel,
    if you do not read,
    If you do not listen to the sounds of life,
    If you do not appreciate yourself.
    You start dying slowly:

    When you kill your self-esteem,
    When you do not let others help you.
    You start dying slowly;

    If you become a slave of your habits,
    Walking everyday on the same paths,
    If you do not change your routine,
    If you do not wear different colours,
    Or you do not speak to those you don’t know,
    You start dying slowly;

    If you avoid to feel passion
    And their turbulent emotions;
    Those which make your eyes glisten
    And your heart beat fast.
    You start dying slowly;

    If you do not risk what is safe for the uncertain,
    If you do not go after a dream,
    If you do not allow yourself,
    At least once in your lifetime,
    To run away,
    You start dying - Slowly...!

  • Winning the Nobel Peace Prize is a significant accomplishment and is typically awarded to individuals or organizations that have made exceptional contributions to promoting peace and resolving conflicts. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded based on the recommendations of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which consists of five members appointed by the Norwegian Parliament.

    To be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize, individuals or organizations cannot directly apply or campaign for the award. The Nobel Committee reviews a wide range of potential candidates, including government officials, diplomats, activists, organizations, and even academics who have made substantial contributions to peace efforts.

    The Nobel Peace Prize is typically awarded based on achievements in areas such as conflict resolution, disarmament, human rights, promoting dialogue, fostering peace treaties, or advocating for social justice. It is important to note that the nomination and selection process is confidential, and the deliberations of the Nobel Committee are not publicly disclosed until 50 years later.

    If you aspire to make a positive impact in the world and contribute to peacebuilding efforts, it is commendable to focus on promoting peace, advocating for human rights, and working towards resolving conflicts. While winning the Nobel Peace Prize is not something one can actively pursue, the aim should be to make a difference in the lives of others and strive for a more peaceful and just world.
