Lately, Many people have been messaging me, How can you travel so much ? Take me with you, Tell me how much you spent on travel last year, where do you get so much money to travel, etc etc. I do not know how many of you know that a LOT of people in the world travel a lot, specially in the Backpacking world, they travel for months and months and they spend very small amounts of money in their travels. Travel is something that make's you into a better human being, and I highly recommend it to everyone, The means of the travels do eventually come to you. My travel experiences began when I was 8 years old, and I went to the United States first time with my Aunt and 2 cousin's for a month, I was very young, and I was a very very silent observer. Later when I was 15 years old, I travelled to Dubai with my father and while he slept entire week in the hotel, trying to get relaxed, I for one walked around the entire week experimenting with looking at things I have never seen before, and running around, and since I had some savings, I took them and bought more Commodore 64 supplies from the small vendor's in Dubai Deira market, sold them more game's, and bought more joy sticks and power supplies to the Commodore 64 computer. I knew how the market worked because I went, asked questions, made many many many mistakes, but it gave me the confidence to be finally able to articulate my questions in a way where I was not looked at is a 15 year old boy but someone who may be a potential customer for them. Upon my return to Karachi, Pakistan , I was asked HOW is Dubai, and my answer was Like a CLEAN Version of Karachi, Yet today it is a different story than 1989. I have travelled now to 60+ countries & first time when I met backpackers was in 1994 when I was given a grant by the Government of Australia to travel to Comdex Australia and after the Show I found that there is such a thing as BACKPACKING which my friend, who I made while at the show took me to, and that is where I met Heroshi Hasigawa , A Japanese Traveller, Who I called Allah Mian ki Gaain, and who was there spending his 1 month's savings by doing work of delivering Movies to peoples houses. When I was 15 or 16 I also Travelled all over Pakistan for promoting our Commodore 64 products , and Along with me was Faisal Saleem Rathod and Khalid Humayoon who went all over Pakistan with me. The money came from the work we were doing of Selling Computers at that time. Most of my life, I have travelled on the money I made, I have lived in good and bad placed, but mostly budget places, as that is where I met most of the HUMAN BEING's who helped me look at the world in a very different way, then I was told the world is. Moral of this small note ? Be envious of my travel if you want to be, but the purpose of my travel is to learn and take you along with me, to explore the world, that you may or may not have seen. Why Be envious ? so that you can also SPARK a desire to travel and see the world with your own 2 eyes, instead of reading or being told what is out there. How to get the mean's ? Mean's are provided by god, when you really want something, start saving, travel small, travel locally, sit in a bus one day and go from corner to corner, this is what I did, when I had no money to spend also, and it allowed me to see places within my city which I thought could not exist, and remember, do NOT forget to make a friend on the way of these travels. Which remind's me of a time, when we were going to Punjab on the train when I was 15 and a fellow become our friend, and he took us to his village and cooked nice chicken for us, which was not the best tasting chicken in the world, but It made a huge mark as that man was not full of a lot of means. Subject: Launching of the Project “E-Karachi” Respected Sir/Madam, You know our humble contribution during last five years in promoting the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in development sector of Pakistan specially in Health, Education, Agriculture and Governance (Attached post event report of our last event on 1-2 Dec 2013 in Marriot Islamabad). Followed by this Pakistan Institute of ICTS for Development (PIID) arranged series of meetings in all provinces (Report of the meeting in PITB Punjab is attached). While we have started our preparations for the next annual International Conference on “ICTs for Good Governance in Pakistan” in December 2014, Pakistan Institute of ICTs for Development (PIID) has considered it necessary to launch the project “E-Karachi” which aims to bring all relevant stakeholders of development sector on one page to use ICTs for development. This approach is likely to handle number of duplications in our existing financial pressures in development sector. In this initiative Universities/Colleges, NGOs, Community Leaders, Government Organizations and Technology partners are likely to play their role under a joint strategy of Development. Public-Private partnership in development is a best global practice to bring fast track development in Education, Health, Agriculture and Good Governance especially in less developed areas. Through joint efforts all relevant Public & Private sector organizations engaged in development can make a success story to be projected as Pilot project of ICT4D which can be replicated in other parts of Punjab and also be showcased at International level. Project “E-Karachi” aims to bring following four entities on one page to make collaborated efforts under best Global practices of ICT4D to bring rapid progress in Education, Health, Agriculture and Governance. After some initial success we may just replicate the process in other parts of Punjab. We intend to continue with the same plan till December 2015 (To show results in MDGs and WSIS) and then catch up for further initiatives based on ICTs for development post MDGs strategies. Four Entities are: a) Relevant Government organizations (For Good Governance using ICTs) b) Universities/collages/schools (Learning through Engaged Community Service) c) NGOs already working in rural parts around Lahore d) Technology partners and solution providers PIID has established required linkages with some national and International organizations and designed an Eco-system to train and make the required networking in place in shortest possible time. Today I had a Full of fun day, I and Faisal Japanwala, went to Karachi Chamber to meet the President and Present him with my book and Rehan School Details. On the way back, he wanted to have lassi so we stopped at Punjab lassi on Burns Road, While Faisal got the Lassi back, 2 boys came and asked for our Mobiles, and Took them away, The poor fellow’s also took our car key’s with them. I smiled and talked to them, and giving the iPhone in my hand back to our 3rd Friend, who’s it was, I gave my phone to them, and asked please give me the SIM back, he replied ok giving. Our friend in the back ran from the car and the poor robber’s got funny and took our car keys also. Anyways, so I got to spend a few hours in the area, as Brother Tameez came with the Keywala trying to make the key. While standing and looking around from Laziza Shop, I asked why they do not put camera’s on pole and who is in charge of the area, and the owner of the shop said no one, i was confused as earlier when I went to Karachi Foods, they said Laziza and Agha Sajji are the in charge in the area. After talking to him 30 mins, he was like no one wants to do anything and it won’t work if we put camera’s Later i went to Agha Sajji and turned out to be similar story that NO ONE will pay for anything, I said, I will arrange money, can you just find me someone in charge of the area, and they were like nope. We went for namaaz, and then came back and Agha bhai offered Chai Shai, So I had, trying to know him more, and understand. I offered the same, Let’s put camera’s in the area and put them on internet, then anyone can monitor, and if there is a problem, the recording can be retrieved from the web by tv channels or police if they wanted to, and he said we will think about it. So I thought WHY NOT I as an Entrepreneur for good can try to solve this problem and make a business out of it ? Make Public Streets public on internet, so anyone can monitor and get recordings and tv channels and we expose the robbers on internet and on tv. Here is my idea, and let me know how better we can monazite it and if you will be a customer ? Idea is to put cameras on street’s and then let people watch any where in the city via your phone over 3g and web. You go to the app or website, and enter Street Number, or Camera number or just to a map, and you can watch the Street for some time say 10 seconds for Free and if you pay 2$ a month you can watch it for as long as you want and if you pay 5$ you can download the videos also from last 24 hrs. What do you think should be the charges, What do you think can be other ways to monazite this ?

A nearly two-week confrontation between the administration and demonstrators, which the government believes are backed by the military, has put Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under pressure. Government aides said the military has seized on Mr. Sharif's weakened status during the political crisis to strike a deal in which he would leave strategic policy areas—including relations with the U.S., Afghanistan and India—to be controlled by the armed forces. The military is now seeking guarantees from the prime minister that he will follow through on the agreement, the aides said. Spokesmen for Mr. Sharif and several government ministries didn't return calls seeking comment. A Pakistani military spokesman didn't respond to requests to comment. Since winning an outright majority in Parliament 16 months ago, Mr. Sharif has angered the military establishment with efforts to assert civilian control of the armed forces and decide on policies that were traditionally the domain of the military. The deal with the military would sharply curtail Mr. Sharif's powers, and cast doubt on his ability to make peace with Pakistan's rival, India, a top priority for the prime minister. "If Nawaz Sharif survives, for the rest of his term, he will be a ceremonial prime minister—the world will not take him seriously," said Ayesha Siddiqa, an analyst based in Islamabad. "A soft coup has already taken place. The question is whether it will harden." Thousands of protesters arrived on Aug. 15 in Islamabad, led by Imran Khan, a politician and former cricket star, and Muslim cleric Tahir ul Qadri, demanding the prime minister's resignation. The activists have slept on the streets of the capital since, protesters moving last week in front of the Parliament. The armed forces have run Pakistan for half its 67-year history, including a 1999 coup led by then-army chief Pervez Musharraf, which ended Mr. Sharif's last stint as prime minister. Even when not formally in power, the military has traditionally run foreign and internal security policies. Government aides said the military has extracted a promise of freedom for Mr. Musharraf, who is being prosecuted by Mr. Sharif's government for treason. That charge, related to Mr. Musharraf's military rule following the 1999 coup, is another major source of tension between the administration and the armed forces. Mr. Musharraf denies the treason charge. According to political and security officials, Mr. Sharif's government had secretly agreed to let Mr. Musharraf go abroad after a symbolic indictment over treason, which took place in March, but the government went back on the deal. That eroded trust between the military and Mr. Sharif. Government aides said the administration was also willing to let the prime minister's brother, Shahbaz Sharif, step down as chief minister of Punjab province, the country's most heavily populated region. Democracy was restored in Pakistan in 2008, when a government led by Asif Zardari of the Pakistan Peoples Party was elected and ruled until last year's elections. Mr. Zardari's government, a weak coalition, had also in its early days tried to push its own foreign and security policies, but it was soon beaten back. "But the military decided that they'll make him an Asif Zardari." Mr. Sharif's election victory had also raised hopes of a shift in policy toward Afghanistan and India. Mr. Sharif offered India a trade liberalization deal, and pledged to Kabul that he would end Pakistan's interference in Afghanistan. But Mr. Sharif's stated aim of making peace with India and the pace at which he started to pursue this goal—seen in Washington as a historic opportunity— riled the military establishment. Mr. Sharif's policy of holding extended peace talks with Pakistani Taliban militants held up the army's plans for an operation against them, sowing further misgivings about the government. A government aide said that the personal political ambitions of the protest leaders had been encouraged by a military that wanted to "cut Nawaz Sharif down to size." "The script was never to topple the government but weaken it to the point where it was just left hanging, unable to move," said the aide. Mr. Khan has called for a government of "technocrats" to be brought in now, but denied that he is acting on behalf of the military. "I'm doing this for Pakistan, not for myself," Mr. Khan told supporters in a speech Wednesday. "To save our democracy, I'm not going from here without Nawaz Sharif's resignation."
