Story: Mulla Nasruddin and the Baker

One morning, Mulla Nasruddin visited a small bakery in his town. The baker was worried because his bread was not selling well.
Mulla watched carefully as the baker prepared the dough. He noticed that the baker was always in a hurry and did not give the dough enough time to rise.
Mulla smiled and said, “Good bread needs patience. You cannot rush something that needs time to grow.”
The baker decided to follow Mulla’s advice. He prepared the dough carefully, gave it enough time to rise, and baked it at the right temperature.
When the fresh bread came out of the oven, it was soft, golden, and delicious. The people of the town loved it!
Soon, the bakery became famous for having the best bread in town.
The baker thanked Mulla and asked, “How did you know the secret?”
Mulla laughed and replied, “Sometimes the best recipe is simply patience and care!”

    Moral

Good things take time. Patience, care, and attention can turn ordinary work into something special.

  • **Mulla Nasruddin and the Pot of Gold**

One day, Mulla Nasruddin was walking along a quiet path outside his village when he noticed something unusual buried in the ground. Curious, he stopped and began digging. To his great surprise, he discovered an old pot filled with shining gold coins!

For a moment, Mulla Nasruddin imagined all the things he could do with the treasure. He could build a beautiful house, buy whatever he wanted, and live a comfortable life. But then he paused and thought carefully. He realized that the gold probably belonged to someone who had hidden it there for safekeeping.

Instead of keeping the treasure for himself, Mulla Nasruddin decided to find its rightful owner. He returned to the village and asked the people if anyone had lost a pot of gold. After some searching and asking questions, he discovered that an elderly man had hidden his valuable savings in that area and had been desperately looking for them.

Mulla Nasruddin happily returned the entire pot to the old man without asking for anything in return. The man was extremely grateful and praised Nasruddin for his honesty and kindness.

Mulla Nasruddin smiled and explained that gold may make a person rich, but **honesty, trust, and good character are far more valuable than any treasure.**

This heartwarming story teaches us an important lesson: when we find something that belongs to someone else, we should always try to return it to its rightful owner. True wealth is not measured by how much money we have, but by the honesty and kindness we show toward others.

    **Moral of the Story:**
**Honesty is the greatest treasure. A person with a good character and a truthful heart possesses something more valuable than gold.**

May we always choose honesty over greed, kindness over selfishness, and good character over material wealth.

Topic Mulla Nasruddin and the Wise Scholar

One day, a very wise scholar came to Mulla Nasruddin’s village. He was proud of his knowledge and believed that he knew the answer to every question.

The scholar asked Mulla Nasruddin, “Tell me, what is more important: knowledge or wisdom?”

Mulla smiled and said, “Let us have tea first.”

The scholar became impatient and said, “I came here for answers, not tea!”

Mulla filled a cup with tea until it overflowed onto the table. The scholar quickly said, “Stop! The cup is already full!”

Mulla replied, “Exactly! Your mind is like this cup. If you believe you already know everything, there is no room left to learn something new.”

The scholar became quiet and realized the lesson. He thanked Mulla for teaching him that true wisdom begins with humility and an open mind.

    Mulla Nasruddin Tried to Fly

Once, Mulla Nasruddin read in a book that birds could fly with their wings. He thought, “If birds can fly, perhaps I can fly too!”

Mulla made two large wooden wings and tied them to his arms. Then he climbed onto the roof and proudly announced, “Today, I will show everyone that I can fly!”

He spread his arms, closed his eyes, and jumped.

Instead of flying through the sky, Mulla landed on the ground. Luckily, he was not seriously hurt. The people around him started laughing.

Mulla dusted off his clothes and calmly said, “You see? I almost flew! The only problem was that the ground called me back!”

    Everyone laughed even harder.

Mulla then smiled and said, “Today I learned that reading about something is not enough. We must also understand how it works and think about the risks.”

    Moral

Courage is important, but wisdom and caution are equally important. Before trying something new, understand it, consider the risks, and seek good advice.

Mulla Nasruddin and the Magical Mirror

Once upon a time, Sultan of a great kingdom heard about a difficult problem troubling his people. No one could find a clever solution, so the Sultan called Mulla Nasruddin to the palace.

The Sultan gave Mulla a magical mirror and said, “This mirror shows the truth. Use it wisely and solve the problem.”

Mulla looked into the mirror and noticed something strange. Whenever a person looked at it, the mirror showed not their face, but their true intentions.

Mulla took the mirror to the marketplace. He asked the people involved in the problem to look into it. A greedy merchant, who had been blaming an innocent man, looked into the mirror and became embarrassed when he saw his own greed.

Mulla smiled and said, “Sometimes, the biggest problem is not outside us. It is hidden inside our own hearts.”

The merchant admitted his mistake and returned what he had taken. The innocent man was freed, and peace returned to the marketplace.

The Sultan was amazed by Mulla's wisdom.

“You solved the problem without using the mirror to punish anyone,” said the Sultan.

Mulla replied, “Your Majesty, the mirror only showed the truth. The real magic was helping people see their own mistakes.”

    Moral

True wisdom is not about finding faults in others; it is about having the courage to see and correct our own mistakes.

🫏 Story: Mulla Nasruddin and the Mysterious Missing Donkey

One morning, Mulla Nasruddin went outside and discovered that his donkey was missing. He searched around the house, checked the garden, and looked along the road, but the donkey was nowhere to be found.

The neighbors came to help him. Everyone had a different idea about what had happened.

After searching for a long time, Nasruddin suddenly smiled.

One neighbor asked, “Why are you smiling? Your donkey is missing!”

Nasruddin replied, “Because if my donkey wanted to disappear, it has certainly done a better job than I ever could!”

Just then, they heard a loud “Hee-haw!” from behind a nearby wall. The donkey had wandered there looking for food.

Everyone laughed, and Nasruddin said, “Sometimes we worry about problems that are much closer—and simpler—than we think!”
