Day 11 Coding with ChatGPT – Calculator App Code

    Introduction

For my Day 11 Coding with ChatGPT task, I worked on creating a simple and user-friendly Calculator App using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The main purpose of this project was to learn how to build a useful web application with the help of ChatGPT and understand the basic concepts of web development.

A calculator is a very useful tool in our daily lives. We use calculators in mathematics, education, shopping, budgeting, and many other activities. Instead of performing every calculation manually, we can use a calculator to get results quickly and easily. Through this project, I learned how a simple calculator can be created using three important web development technologies.

    About My Calculator App

My Calculator App is designed to perform four basic mathematical operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The app provides a simple interface where users can enter numbers, select mathematical operators, and calculate the result.

The main goal was to make the calculator easy to understand and convenient to use. A clear layout, readable buttons, and a visible display help users enter numbers and view their calculations. This project also helped me understand how different parts of a web application work together.

    Technologies Used

    1. HTML – Structure of the App

HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. It is used to create the basic structure of the calculator. I used HTML to organize the calculator display, number buttons, mathematical operators, and other important elements.

    2. CSS – Design and Styling

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It is used to make the calculator look attractive and organized. CSS helps control colors, spacing, button sizes, text styles, borders, and the overall layout. It also helps make the app easier to use on different screen

  • **Teachers Training – Level 2 | Day 51**

    **Connecting with International Educators **

Today, as part of Day 51 of Teachers Training Level 2 at Rehan School Islamabad Campus, we worked on the task of connecting with two foreign educators, including principals or teachers who were born and are currently based outside Pakistan.

The purpose of this activity was to expand our international professional network, learn about global teaching practices, exchange educational ideas, and explore different approaches to school leadership and classroom management.

Through LinkedIn and Facebook, we are building connections with educators from different countries to broaden our perspectives and promote international collaboration in education.

  • Every evening, a student would sit by the window and imagine a different future.

She dreamed of studying at a university abroad, meeting new people, learning new skills, and building a better future. Her room was filled with maps, university photos, books, and notes about different countries.

    But there was one problem.

She had the dream, but she didn't know where to begin.

There were so many universities, countries, courses, and scholarship opportunities that finding the right one felt overwhelming. She searched again and again, opened different websites, wrote notes, and tried to keep track of everything.

One evening, she looked at her laptop and decided to search differently.

    She opened scholarship.best.

She could explore scholarship opportunities, search by her goals, and discover possibilities from around the world — all in one place.

Suddenly, studying abroad didn't feel like an impossible dream anymore.

It became something she could explore, plan for, and work towards.

She closed her notebook and wrote one simple line:

    “Different paths. Same dream.”

    Because dreams don't have borders.

Sometimes, they just need the right opportunity to begin.

Imagine a living cell as a busy, well-organized city where every building, worker, and department has an important job. Welcome to **Cell City**!

Just like a city needs different systems to function smoothly, a cell depends on specialized structures called **organelles**.

    **Nucleus — The City Hall**
The nucleus contains the cell’s DNA and helps direct many of its activities.

    **Mitochondria — The Power Stations**
They produce much of the energy that cells use to carry out their functions.

    **Ribosomes — The Factories**
Ribosomes build proteins, which are essential for the structure and activities of cells.

**Endoplasmic Reticulum — The Transport Network**
The ER helps make and move proteins and lipids throughout the cell.

**Golgi Apparatus — The Packaging Center**
It modifies, sorts, and packages certain molecules for delivery.

    **Lysosomes — The Recycling Centers**
They contain enzymes that help break down unwanted materials and cellular waste.

**Cell Membrane — The City Border**
It controls what enters and leaves the cell, helping maintain a stable internal environment.

**Chloroplasts — The Solar Power Plants**
In plant cells, chloroplasts capture light energy and use it during photosynthesis.

Every organelle has a role, and together they keep the cell functioning. The amazing world inside even a tiny cell reminds us that **teamwork and organization are essential for life.**

**Explore Cell City and discover how each organelle helps keep life running!**

Long before modern airplanes, highways, and the internet connected the world, **trade routes brought distant communities together**. From ancient caravan paths across Asia and Africa to maritime routes across the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, these networks helped transform human history.

**Trade routes moved much more than goods.**
Silk, spices, gold, precious stones, textiles, metals, food, and other valuable products traveled across continents. But along with these goods came something equally important: **ideas, technologies, languages, beliefs, traditions, and knowledge**.

    **They helped economies grow.**
Cities located along important routes often became busy centers of trade. Merchants, craftsmen, sailors, and travelers created new economic opportunities, while ports and marketplaces connected producers and consumers across great distances.

    **They spread knowledge and innovation.**
Technologies, scientific ideas, navigation techniques, agricultural practices, and inventions could travel from one region to another. Trade networks therefore helped knowledge move across cultural and geographic boundaries.

    **They connected different cultures.**
People from different societies met in markets, ports, and trading cities. These encounters encouraged cultural exchange and influenced food, clothing, art, architecture, languages, and traditions.

**They influenced the rise of cities and empires.**
Controlling important trade routes could provide wealth and strategic advantages. As a result, powerful states and empires competed to control important roads, ports, and commercial centers.

    **Maritime trade changed global connections.**
Sea routes across the Indian Ocean and other waterways allowed merchants to transport large quantities of goods between distant regions. Over time, expanding maritime networks helped create increasingly interconnected economies.

    **The legacy continues today.**
Modern global trade, international shipping, major ports, and interconnected economies are part of a much longer history of people exchanging goods and ideas across borders.

**In short:** Trade routes did not simply move products from one place to another. They helped **move people, ideas, technology, cultures, and knowledge**, creating connections that shaped the history of the world.

**History reminds us that the world has been connected for thousands of years.**
