When the promise of the hereafter comes to be fulfilled, We shall assemble you all together [in the Land of Israel in the End of Days]".

[Quran: Sura 17, "The Night Journey", verse 103]

"it was Our [Allahs] will to favour those who were oppressed [the Jews] and to make them leaders of mankind, to bestow on them a noble heritage and to give them power in the land [of Israel]: and to inflict on Pharoah, Haman, and their army, the very scourge dreaded by their victims".

[Quran: Sura 28, "The Story", verses 5-6]

"Glory be to Him [Allah] who made His servants [Muhammed and El Burak] go by night from the Sacred Temple [of Mecca] to the farther Temple [of Jerusalem], whose surroundings We have blessed, that We might show him some of Our signs. He [Allah] alone hears all and observes all. We [Allah] gave Moses the Scriptures and made them a guide for the Israelites, saying, Take no other guardian than Myself. You are the descendants of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah. He was a truly thankful servant".

[Quran: Sura 17, "The Night Journey", verses 1-3]

"We gave the Scriptures to the Israelites and bestowed on them wisdom and prophethood. We provided them with good things and exalted them above the nations".

[Quran: Sura 45, "Kneeling", verses 16-17]

"There is guidance, and there is light, in the Torah which We [Allah] have revealed. By it the prophets who surrendered themselves to Allah judged the Jews, and so did the rabbis and the divines; they gave judgement according to Allahs scriptures which had been committed to their keeping and to which they were witnesses".

[Quran: Sura 5, "The Table", verses 44-45]

  • Open letter to Al-Khidmat Foundation Islamabad from Abrar Ul Haq

    Dear Sir, Assalam Alaikum.
This is Abrar-Ul-Haq, from Jacobabad. I am engineering student at NUST, Islamabad and a social worker.
First of all I would like to congratulate you for the work your organization, Al-Khidmat is doing all over the country in general and Sindh in Particular.
I have been closely watching the activities of Al-Khidmat in Jacobabad. On the one hand, I appreciate the work specially in the domains of Healthcare and Disaster Management and on the occasions of Ramadan and Eid etc. But on the other hand you must admit it that the Al-Khidmat Jacobabad is not as active as the rest of the Districts. A simple example is Al-Khidmat Jacobabad is owning a plot worth Rupees 40 Lac for hospital and there are doing nothing with it.
Coming on your general organization structure, You know Sir, innovation in any organization is a very essential element. I appreciate that all the organizations are doing but someone needs to think out of the box.
In this regard, I am requesting your organization to sponsor a couple of events here in Jacobabad. Had it been Islamabad, crowd funding would have been enough to support the projects but its Jacobabad and you know people here rather need more than donating.
First, project is “Wall of Kindness”. The idea might sound a classical idea to you but Sir you know people here don’t just accept the change immediately. So this will serve good as establishing our roots, introducing that there also exist something known as helping others and community service. This first project is like a marketing strategy for your next project. I plan to start this before 11 August before I go to Dubai.
Before I step towards introducing the next project, I would like to put that majority of our youth (especially in lower Sindh) has no work to do so called wanderers which latter go to some wrong directions like robbery and theft etc.
I thought, Why not to assign them some right direction some good work to do? I will tell how we can, in a moment.
In the next project, actually I want to start the trend of community service through a Intercity Community Service Competition where such people do some acts of community service and shoot a 5 minute video and top 3 get a cash price. And people here will complete this task for a handsome amount of cash prize.
I believe this is really gonna be at least a spark to the fire You, I and we all really want to see in community, and in our youth.
I hope you to be interested in such acts of Kindness for Humanity, Sir.
Sir, If you find this little effort to change interesting, You can send me your email address and/or contact as well.
    Jazak ALLAH.

  • Throughout history, the region now known as Israel and Palestine has been known by various names, often reflecting the cultural, political, or religious influences of the time. Heres a broad overview:

    1. **Canaan (circa 15th century BCE)**:
    - The term used in ancient texts to refer to the region, especially by the ancient Egyptians.

    2. **Land of Israel / Eretz Yisrael (circa 1200 BCE - Present)**:
    - The name used in Jewish religious texts to refer to the land promised to the descendants of Abraham through his son Isaac and grandson Jacob (Israel).

    3. **Judea / Judah (circa 11th century BCE - 6th century CE)**:
    - After the split of the United Monarchy of Israel, the southern kingdom was known as Judah. Later, under Roman rule, the name Judea was also used to refer to the area.

    4. **Philistia (circa 12th century BCE - 7th century BCE)**:
    - Used in ancient texts to refer to the region along the southern coastline, inhabited by the Philistines.

    5. **Roman Palestine / Syria Palaestina (135 CE - 4th century CE)**:
    - After suppressing the Bar Kokhba revolt, the Romans merged Judea with other regions and renamed the area Syria Palaestina to minimize Jewish identification with the land.

    6. **Byzantine Palestine (4th century CE - 7th century CE)**:
    - Under the Byzantine Empire, the region continued to be known as Palestine, divided into several administrative units.

    7. **Jund Filastin (7th century CE - 11th century CE)**:
    - After the Muslim conquest, the area was organized into a military district as part of larger administrative divisions under various Islamic empires.

    8. **The Holy Land (4th century CE - Present)**:
    - Used predominantly in a Christian context to refer to the region associated with the life of Jesus and biblical events.

    9. **Ottoman Palestine (16th century CE - 20th century CE)**:
    - Under Ottoman rule, the region was part of the Damascus Eyalet and later the Beirut Vilayet, without an official area named Palestine. However, the term Palestine was still used in common parlance.

    10. **British Mandate Palestine (1920 - 1948)**:
    - After World War I, the League of Nations established the British Mandate for Palestine, which included the current territories of Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and Jordan.

    11. **Israel (1948 - Present)**:
    - After the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948, the term Israel came into official use for the region.

    12. **West Bank & Gaza Strip**:
    - After the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and the 1967 Six-Day War, these terms became commonly used to refer to the territories occupied by Israel but identified as part of the aspirational Palestinian state.

Throughout history, the names used for the region have reflected its complex history of conquest, settlement, and administration by various empires and states.

  • When the Titanic sank, it carried millionaire John Jacob Astor IV. The money in his bank account was enough to build 30 Titanics. However, faced with mortal danger, he chose what he deemed morally right and gave up his spot in a lifeboat to save two frightened children.
Millionaire Isidor Straus, co-owner of the largest American chain of department stores, "Macys," who was also on the Titanic, said:
"I will never enter a lifeboat before other men."
His wife, Ida Straus, also refused to board the lifeboat, giving her spot to her newly appointed maid, Ellen Bird. She decided to spend her last moments of life with her husband.

These wealthy individuals preferred to part with their wealth, and even their lives, rather than compromise their moral principles. Their choice in favor of moral values highlighted the brilliance of human civilization and human nature.
