**Prime Number Checker — Explore the World of Mathematics!**

Welcome to the **Prime Number Checker**, a simple and useful mathematical tool designed to help users identify whether a number is prime or composite. This project combines the power of mathematics and programming to make number checking faster, easier, and more interactive.

    **What Is a Prime Number?**

A prime number is a natural number greater than 1 that has exactly two distinct positive factors: 1 and itself. Examples include 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, and 17. Numbers such as 4, 6, 8, and 9 are composite because they have more than two positive factors. Remember, the number 1 is neither prime nor composite.

**How Does the Prime Number Checker Work?**

The user enters a number, and the program checks whether it is divisible by any whole number other than 1 and itself. If no such divisor exists, the number is identified as prime. Otherwise, it is classified as composite. The program can also handle special cases, such as 1, 0, and negative numbers, by displaying appropriate results.

    **Key Features:**

    - Quickly checks whether a number is prime.
    - Uses mathematical logic to test divisibility.
    - Provides a simple and user-friendly interface.
    - Delivers results quickly and efficiently.
    - Helps students understand prime numbers and factors.
    - Supports learning basic programming concepts and conditional statements.

    **Why Is This Project Useful?**

A Prime Number Checker is an excellent beginner-friendly programming project for students and mathematics enthusiasts. It helps develop logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of algorithms. Prime numbers are also important in advanced mathematics, computer science, and cryptography.

Whether you are learning programming for the first time or exploring number theory, this project offers a practical way to connect mathematical concepts with real-world computing.

**Think logically, explore numbers, and discover the fascinating patterns hidden in mathematics!**

Like, Share, and Follow for more educational projects, programming ideas, and interesting mathematical concepts!

  • Wouldn’t it be interesting to see a conversation where politicians need to discuss some of the very real issues we will face in the 2020s:

    - What happens when a foreign power develops a 50 Qbit quantum computer that can cut through encryption like a knife through butter and look back 10 years at everything ever said by anyone? What private companies should be allowed to have a powerful quantum computer that can strip away all known encryption?

    - What ethical choices do we make about AI that is better at diagnosis than 90% of GPs? Or that can drive cars 90% more safely than humans? Or that is 90% better at adjudication than judges? Or that can categorically predict someone is a danger before they actually do something bad?

    - How does the economy function when 75% of human needs can be fulfilled by digital products, software, media or automation that creates this capacity without any human inputs?

    - In a 5G world, what do we want to occupy the additional 90% of bandwidth with? Do we want a super-surveillance state that is linked to Machine Learning? Do we want early diagnosis of incurable disease based upon sensors in our homes and watches?

    - What role do we want traditional education to play? What future are we preparing kids for? In a world where computers can give precise answers to 95% of the problems we could ever conceive, what training does a child require to operate it?

If our biggest medical breakthroughs, military threats and educational needs all hinge on having good answers to difficult questions with quantum computing, AI/ML, 5G, etc why is this stuff never even remotely discussed?

  • Amazons founder Jeff Bezos is stepping down later this year as CEO. He sent the following email announcing the transition to Amazon employees on Tuesday:

    Fellow Amazonians:

Im excited to announce that this Q3 Ill transition to Executive Chair of the Amazon Board and Andy Jassy will become CEO. In the Exec Chair role, I intend to focus my energies and attention on new products and early initiatives. Andy is well known inside the company and has been at Amazon almost as long as I have. He will be an outstanding leader, and he has my full confidence.

This journey began some 27 years ago. Amazon was only an idea, and it had no name. The question I was asked most frequently at that time was, "Whats the internet?" Blessedly, I havent had to explain that in a long while.

Today, we employ 1.3 million talented, dedicated people, serve hundreds of millions of customers and businesses, and are widely recognized as one of the most successful companies in the world.
How did that happen? Invention. Invention is the root of our success. Weve done crazy things together, and then made them normal. We pioneered customer reviews, 1-Click, personalized recommendations, Primes insanely-fast shipping, Just Walk Out shopping, the Climate Pledge, Kindle, Alexa, marketplace, infrastructure cloud computing, Career Choice, and much more. If you get it right, a few years after a surprising invention, the new thing has become normal. People yawn. And that yawn is the greatest compliment an inventor can receive.

I dont know of another company with an invention track record as good as Amazons, and I believe we are at our most inventive right now. I hope you are as proud of our inventiveness as I am. I think you should be.

As Amazon became large, we decided to use our scale and scope to lead on important social issues. Two high-impact examples: our $15 minimum wage and the Climate Pledge. In both cases, we staked out leadership positions and then asked others to come along with us. In both cases, its working. Other large companies are coming our way. I hope youre proud of that as well.

I find my work meaningful and fun. I get to work with the smartest, most talented, most ingenious teammates. When times have been good, youve been humble. When times have been tough, youve been strong and supportive, and weve made each other laugh. It is a joy to work on this team.

As much as I still tap dance into the office, Im excited about this transition. Millions of customers depend on us for our services, and more than a million employees depend on us for their livelihoods. Being the CEO of Amazon is a deep responsibility, and its consuming. When you have a responsibility like that, its hard to put attention on anything else. As Exec Chair I will stay engaged in important Amazon initiatives but also have the time and energy I need to focus on the Day 1 Fund, the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post, and my other passions. Ive never had more energy, and this isnt about retiring. Im super passionate about the impact I think these organizations can have.

Amazon couldnt be better positioned for the future. We are firing on all cylinders, just as the world needs us to. We have things in the pipeline that will continue to astonish. We serve individuals and enterprises, and weve pioneered two complete industries and a whole new class of devices. We are leaders in areas as varied as machine learning and logistics, and if an Amazonians idea requires yet another new institutional skill, were flexible enough and patient enough to learn it.

Keep inventing, and dont despair when at first the idea looks crazy. Remember to wander. Let curiosity be your compass. It remains Day 1.
