Her mother was born in Tamil Nadu, India
Her father was born in Jamaica
She is now the first woman EVER to be the Vice President position in United States
It opens doors to more women in The world specially in United States to be in a senior government positions, as this will give inspiration to girls of today and future, to what is possible, similarly to what Sheikh Hasina Prime Minister of Bangladesh , Benazir Bhutto Prime Minister of Pakistan , Indra gandhi Prime Minister of India , Margaret Thatcher Prime Minister of UK , Jacinda Ardern Prime Minister of New Zealand and young 33 year old Prime minister of Finland Sanna Marin has done !
Many of my American friends see this as a great win, and I am very happy foe you all , it’s about time you have a woman in office !
