# **Mulla Nasrudin & the Donkey’s Price**

Once upon a time, **Mulla Nasrudin** had a funny little donkey 🫏. One day, he decided to take his donkey to the busy village market to sell it.

As soon as they arrived, people gathered around.

One man shouted, **“I’ll give you 10 dinars!”**

Another man said, **“No, no! The donkey is worth 15 dinars!”**

A third man came forward and said, **“I’ll give you 20 dinars!”**

Then another buyer looked carefully at the donkey 🫏 and said, **“30 dinars is its real value!”**

Finally, an old man raised his hand and shouted, **“I say 40 dinars!”**

Everyone started arguing!

But Mulla Nasrudin simply stood there quietly. He listened carefully to every person.

After hearing all the different opinions, Mulla smiled and said:

**“I will not sell the donkey.”** 🫏

Everyone was shocked!

“Why?” they asked.

Mulla laughed and replied:

**“How can I sell it when I still don’t know its real price?”** 🫏

Everyone burst into laughter!

### **Moral of the Story**
