# **Mulla Nasrudin & the Donkey’s Price**
Once upon a time, **Mulla Nasrudin** had a funny little donkey đĢ. One day, he decided to take his donkey to the busy village market to sell it.
As soon as they arrived, people gathered around.
One man shouted, **“I’ll give you 10 dinars!”**
Another man said, **“No, no! The donkey is worth 15 dinars!”**
A third man came forward and said, **“I’ll give you 20 dinars!”**
Then another buyer looked carefully at the donkey đĢ and said, **“30 dinars is its real value!”**
Finally, an old man raised his hand and shouted, **“I say 40 dinars!”**
Everyone started arguing!
But Mulla Nasrudin simply stood there quietly. He listened carefully to every person.
After hearing all the different opinions, Mulla smiled and said:
**“I will not sell the donkey.”** đĢ
Everyone was shocked!
“Why?” they asked.
Mulla laughed and replied:
**“How can I sell it when I still don’t know its real price?”** đĢ
Everyone burst into laughter!
### **Moral of the Story**
People can have very different opinions.
It is wise to **listen to everyone , think carefully , and then make your own decision.**
**The donkey had many prices—but Mulla knew that only listening wasn’t enough!** đĢ
