He had borrowed money from a wealthy lender but couldn't repay it on time. The lender threatened to take all his belongings. Mulla smiled and said, "Leave it to me." The next morning, Mulla accompanied the merchant to meet the lender. Calmly, he said, "My friend truly intends to repay you. But if you take everything he owns today, he'll never be able to earn enough to pay you back. Give him more time, and you'll receive your money. Take everything now, and you'll lose both your money and a hardworking man." The lender thought for a moment and realized Mulla's words made sense. He agreed to extend the deadline.
