Periodic Table: The Language of Science

The Periodic Table is often called the language of science because it organizes all known chemical elements into a clear and meaningful system. Developed from the groundbreaking work of Dmitri Mendeleev, the periodic table helps scientists, students, engineers, and researchers understand the properties and behaviour of every element. From the oxygen we breathe to the gold in jewellery and the silicon inside computers , every element has its own place and purpose.

Each element is represented by a unique symbol, atomic number, and atomic mass, making it easier to study and compare their characteristics. The rows, called periods, and the columns, called groups, reveal patterns that allow scientists to predict how elements react with one another. This organised structure has become one of the most important tools in chemistry and modern science.

The periodic table is more than just a chart hanging on a classroom wall—it is a map of the building blocks of the universe. In 1895, at the age of sixteen, Einstein sat the entrance examinations for the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich (later the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule ETH). He failed to reach the required standard in several subjects, mainly in French, but obtained exceptional grades in physics and mathematics.

The professor of a university challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student answered bravely, "Yes, he did".

The professor then asked, "If God created everything, then he created evil. Since evil exists (as noticed by our own actions), so God is evil. The student couldnt respond to that statement causing the professor to conclude that he had "proved" that "belief in God" was a fairy tale, and therefore worthless.

Another student raised his hand and asked the professor, "May I pose a question? " "Of course" answered the professor.

The young student stood up and asked : "Professor does Cold exists?"

The professor answered, "What kind of question is that? ...Of course the cold exists... havent you ever been cold?"

The young student answered, "In fact sir, Cold does not exist. According to the laws of Physics, what we consider cold, in fact is the absence of heat. Anything is able to be studied as long as it transmits energy (heat). Absolute Zero is the total absence of heat, but cold does not exist. What we have done is create a term to describe how we feel if we dont have body heat or we are not hot."

"And, does Dark exist?", he continued. The professor answered "Of course". This time the student responded, "Again youre wrong, Sir. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in fact simply the absence of light. Light can be studied, darkness can not. Darkness cannot be broken down. A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam finishes. Dark is a term that we humans have created to describe what happens when theres lack of light."

Finally, the student asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" The professor replied, "Of course it exists, as I mentioned at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violence anywhere in the world, and those things are evil."

The student responded, "Sir, Evil does not exist. Just as in the previous cases, Evil is a term which man has created to describe the result of the absence of Gods presence in the hearts of man."

After this, the professor bowed down his head, and didnt answer back.

The language of spirit transcends the limits of the mind, just as the language of quantum physics challenges those who struggle with the foundations of basic math. A true teacher speaks of that which they Know, yet IT is not said as absolute doctrine, for IT functions more like a lighthouse, as a guiding light for those ships that are lost in the dark and cannot SEE. A wise teacher speaks of the path, but does not give absolute answers, for true wisdom arises only through living direct experience.
As they say, when the student is ready the teacher will appear, for it is only when we are silent, does the everyday world reveal its true mystery like a mirror. And IT is through engaging this mystery that we reach self discovery, for truth is never found by looking at the words of another. IT is only found by reaching for the words that have never been told, and this takes going beyond the limits of ego. For in the end, IT is still YOU that has to steer your ship, if you leave IT unattended, your fate only ends up shipwrecked. Success, money and pleasure are all the keys to failure, for they are only the fools quest for seeking permanence in a impermanent world. Society has kept us blindfolded and fooled, searching for a future treasure that can never be found, when all along we have all possessed the treasure within...and that is the power to co-create, which is more valuable then all the gold in the world!
For IT is the one who transcends the fears and attachments of the mind, that discovers what IT means to truly BE alive, a life without carrying inner suffering within the mind, heart, and spirit. As the wise one realizes that today is eternal, the ever-changing flow of Universal currents, for today we are not who we where yesterday, nor who we will be the same tomorrow, and IT is through our non-clinging of self that we discover the ability to co-create life in our daily reality

Our mission : to train and empower LOCAL entrepreneurs to get back on their own feet. Some of us will be there full time, some locals part time, and some going back and forth. We expect to set up a well oiled organization in less than 2 years.

Everything is energy !

The concept that everything is made up of energy is a fundamental principle in physics and has been supported by scientific research and evidence. In physics, energy is defined as the ability to do work, and it can take various forms, such as kinetic energy (the energy of movement), potential energy (the energy stored in an object due to its position or state), thermal energy (the energy of temperature), and electromagnetic energy (the energy of light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation).

According to the laws of thermodynamics, energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. This means that the total amount of energy in the universe is constant.

In quantum mechanics, the smallest unit of matter, the subatomic particles, are also described as waves of energy. This led to the idea that everything in the universe is essentially made up of energy, including matter.

In addition, in some Eastern and New Age philosophy, the concept of everything being energy is also an important principle. Many of these belief systems propose that everything in the universe is interconnected and that all things are made up of the same fundamental energy, often referred to as "prana", "chi" or "qi".

Therefore, while the concept that everything is made up of energy is not universally accepted, it is supported by scientific research and evidence from physics and is an important principle in some Eastern and New Age philosophy.
